RE - KOGI CENTRAL: WE’RE CONFIDENT NATASHA AKPOTI-UDUAGHAN WILL RECLAIM MANDATE – RESIDENTS

It is preposterous and sheer shenanigan to think that you have won an election where the winner got the highest number of votes. It is called simple majority and not the number of local government areas won during the said election. The All Progressives Congress is supposed to be the ones crying and wailing after this election. This is due to the fact that Natasha’s husband Mr. Uduaghan from Delta State used his connection and relationship with the Nigerian army hierarchy to intimidate the APC supporters who trouped out in their numbers to vote for their preferred candidate, Engr. Abubakar Sadiku Ohere, a true son of the soil whose philanthropic work has earned him overwhelming acceptability amongst the people of Kogi Central.

Actually, Mrs. Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan decided to deny most of the APC supporters their right to vote in Okehi Local Government Area despite the fact that the APC candidate there has a significant following and support. She did this in conspiracy with the security services thanks to her husband's connections. Only those who supported the PDP were able to vote in so many areas of the said local government. Due to his unparalleled popularity, the APC candidate, Engr. Ohere, was only able to win some votes from the Okehi Local Government Area by the mercy of God.

Moreover, Natasha’s case is like a wife who is beating her husband but she’s the one crying. This is because, the people will believe whatever she says. But Ohere isn’t deterred by the unfounded and baseless allegation of election rigging leveled against him at the tribunal. He will defend the mandate that was freely given to him by the good people of Kogi Central. They have unanimously elected him to represent their interest at the Nigeria Senate at the 10th National Assembly. We shall therefore; stand firm to ward off every form of lies and propagandas orchestrated by the PDP and their co travelers.  This translate that his team of lawyers will meet you at the tribunal and prove to you with empirical facts and figures that Ohere truly won the election and the will of the people shall prevail. In fact, we have the video evidnces where the PDP candidate, Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan was seen rigging election herself and only asked them to allocate a small figure for the APC candidate as clearly against the new electoral act, 2022.

In Ogori Local government, the PDP candidate played a religious card where she was seen asking the people of the area to vote for her because they share the same Christian faith. In fact, some of the youths were coerced into their group by all means. The people eventually rejected her at the polls but she connived with some element within the APC to rig the election in her favour. Despite their massive rigging, Engr. Ohere was giving them a tough time and they had to resort to allocating numbers without proper voting to the PDP candidate. This is why they managed to win the Ogori Magongo Local Government with insignificant margin.

A resident of Obeiba, Ihima in Okehi Local Government Area, Mallam Salami Zubairu was very bitter when I tried to inquire about this election. In his word, “I am angry and I am highly disappointed in the way the PDP candidate has approached this election, is it war? Why putting everyone on the run just because you want to win election at all cost. I am calling on his excellency, Yahaya Bello to call this woman to order before she commits an unimaginable offence. I think she is losing it.” Another resident of Obangede, who opted to be anonymous, said “Natasha is too desperate and she’s putting the life of innocent citizen in danger by choosing to go violent during and after elections.

In conclusion, I am calling on the security agents and the state government to keep their eyes open before this bitter lady unleashes mayhem on our people.
